Direct Care Staff

Energetic, enthusiastic people needed to care for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  Great opportunity for college students. No experience necessary.  Training is provided.  Flexible hours; weekends and holidays are mandatory.  Must be at least 18 years of age.  These positions are ongoing.

RN Nurse Consultant

Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Intern

This position prepares a staff person to become a QIDP over the course of one year through shadowing and working with current QIDPs, and classes. Must be able to be approved as a QIDP by the California Department of Developmental Services. Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of human services and 1 year of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities; year of internship counts toward experience requirement. Good writing and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license.

Administrator Intern

This position prepares a staff person to become an Administrator over the course of one year through shadowing and working with current Administrators, classes, and certifications. Must be 21 or older with a college degree and 1 year of supervisory experience or high school diploma and 3 years of supervisory experience in a specialized home or a facility with 7 or more residents; year of internship counts toward experience requirement. Good writing and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license.
